Cutting-Edge Lumos Solar Panels
We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to be part of the team bringing solar onto the Microsoft Silicon Valley Campus in Mountain View, CA. This award-winning project was our third major project for our friends, the visionary architects at WRNS Studio. Congratulations on their COTE Top Ten Awards for sustainable design excellence! Awarded by AIA, the COTE Top Ten Awards is the industry’s best-known awards program for sustainable design excellence. Each year, ten innovative projects earn the prize for setting the standard in design and sustainability. Truly inspiring!
The extensive solar system, comprised of solar canopies, solar awnings, and rooftop arrays spread across multiple buildings on campus, all use our GSX Bifacial Module System which features our unique mounting system with an integrated wire way concealing all conductors, junction boxes, optimizers or micro-inverters, resulting in solar arrays with unparalleled aesthetics and functionality, fit for this project.
Much learning from this landmark project is incorporated into our next-generation Lumos Vision Module System coming out later this year. Watch this space!
The extensive system was installed by the highly professional and organized group at Rosendin Electric.
The SolarZone was selected as a winner of the Architectural Products Magazine 2020 Product Innovation Award (PIA) and is listed as one of the 2020 Top Solar Mounting Products – Carports/Canopy Systems in Solar Power World.
