Tick Tock Energy recently announced the completion of a solar canopy at Castle Pub in Mattoon, Illinois.
The project features a Lumos SolarScape structure that expands the pub’s outdoor gathering space and generates clean energy. The installation supports a larger effort to enhance the historic property. It also creates a new space for community events and outdoor entertainment.
According to Tick Tock Energy, the 47.3 kW solar canopy could offset a significant portion of the pub’s electricity use. The structure also provides a covered area for guests year-round. The project shows how solar can support historic properties while adding value for owners and visitors. It also demonstrates how clean energy can blend with thoughtful design.
