LSX Solar Canopy Powers Net-zero Library At Colorado College

When Colorado College decided to build a net-zero energy library, their architects originally specified custom solar modules to be installed over the café trellis seating area.

As the budget process progressed, they looked to their solar installer, Douglass Colony, to help find a more cost effective alternative without giving up the functionality and aesthetics the design called for, which is where the LSX Module System came in. With LSX, the architects were able to realize their vision, and the owner’s were able to include the solar shaded seating area in the final construction. Win-Win!
